Readers Response: Your Gamete, Myself
After reading this article, I feel that I learned alot about the whole "doning" process, where a woman uses anothers eggs with their husband/ significant others sperm to create a child. I honestly had no idea about the facts and numbers it gave detailing just how many woman do this yearly along with the number of families that adopt or attempt to adopt. When Marie was talking about how Becky consulted with her to talk about the situation, it really brought alot of emotion to the article. I think that Marie had alot of good points that she was talking about throughout such as I do agree that children will probably eventually end up realizing that there birth mother is probably not there mother that has been raising them there entire lives. When Catherine's family went to see her birth mother, I also agree with Marie that it should definitely be her choice whether or not she wants to see pictures and such. At the end of the article I was very happy to hear that Becky and her husband were able to have children of their own and it was a very uplifting way to end the article.

Reader Response to: "Facebook: Why I love it/ hate it?"
Before reading either one of these articles, I felt like that I would already have a fairly good idea on what both writers were going to have to say. Being that I am in my third of college, I am most certainly no stranger to "Facebook." I felt that it was even more appropriate to comment on these two articles because I am definitely a person who have there share of ups and downs with this cyber profile of our every move. I felt like I could easily relate to writer of "Why I love it..." because I definitely felt all those same feelings coming out of high school. I mean, it was so exciting having so many friend requests and having the chance to have all these photos posted of you and your closest friends. Countless hours could be spent rather wasted just going through all your different friends profiles and pictures. Maybe its someone who you havent spoken to in some amount of time, well looking at there facebook page for 5 minutes, you could probably find out everything they have done in the past two weeks, pictures included. That leads me to completely understanding the view of the writer for the "Why I hate it...." piece, it has the possibility to take over young kids lives. When they should be studying, working, or just having fun socializing, students find themselves crowding over there computers trying to be as up to date as possible. I think both writers had good articles and enjoyed reading them both.
