Reader Response: When you have to shoot first
I myself am a person who rarely ever resorts to violence and would certainly second guess myself if I was ever in the position to have to kill somone. After reading this, I agree with the author that in both situations, there was no time for the shooters to think and that they did exactly what needed to be done. Im not a fan of war or anything that really goes along with it but I very much respect what our troops are doing. I feel that it takes a very strong willed and extremely tough mind set to do what these people do.

I agree completely with your mindset about war and feel the same way with people who must have to endure being in battle. I also respect, and of course appreciate very much, everything that the men and women in our troops do for the protection of our country.
